Models

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): ACT helps you to define and move towards your values.  It increases your ability to be present and flexible so you can live a life that lines up with what matters most to you, even in the face of difficult emotions or circumstances.  Learn more about this model here.

  • EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a therapy that has been proven to greatly reduce the intensity of traumatic memories and emotions. EMDR sessions can result in considerable relief without requiring extensive talking, which is preferable for clients that find talking about their story difficult. Learn more about this model here

  • Byron Kehler's Story-Informed Trauma Therapy:  This model helps adults to make sense of their life story, to heal from difficult memories and associated wounds, and to build self-compassion and resilience.  Learn more about this model here.

  • Other approaches:  Kelley and Kaci are trained in and familiar with several others models of therapy, and will pull from them as appropriate to meet the needs of the adults that they work with.
